Hebei University is a key comprehensive university co-built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Hebei Province. The university has 15 doctoral programs in first-level disciplines. There are 46 master's degree programs in first-level disciplines and 30 authorized categories of master's professional degree, 95 undergraduate majors. The disciplines and majors are distributed in philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and art, making it one of the universities with the most complete disciplines in China. The university has about 42,000 full-time undergraduate and graduate students.

       Hebei University has also made gratifying achievements in overseas students' education. Our school is now a master's degree training institution and a Chinese proficiency test (HSK) test center, and has the qualifications of Chinese Government Scholarship and Confucius Institute Scholarship enrollment. Our school has also been approved as a Chinese Language Education Base by overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. At present, the university has also set up the scholarship for overseas students from Hebei Province and the President's scholarship for overseas students from Hebei University.

       Hebei university is located in Baoding, a famous historical and cultural city in Hebei province. It is about 150 kilometers away from the Capital, Beijing, and only 40 minutes away by high-speed railway. Since the resumption of enrollment, the university has trained nearly 5,000 graduates from more than 90 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Russia, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Zambia, etc.

I. Eligibility

1. The applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens [The applicant must possess a valid passport or citizenship proof documents (citizenship longer than 4 years), and should have a record of more than 2 year residence in any country other than China in the past 4 years (as of Apr. 30th in admitted year)]

2. Applicants must observe Chinese laws, regulations and school discipline, respect the Chinese customs and habits with good personalities.

3. Aged 18 years old before Jan. 1st of 2020.

4. Applicants who are pursuing undergraduate program should have high school diploma and good grades.

Applicants who are pursuing graduate program should have bachelor degree or above and good grades.

Applicants who are pursuing Ph.D. program should have master’s degree or above and good grades.

5. Chinese teaching program: Chinese language proficiency above HSK4 (210).

English teaching program: English as mother tongue or official language, or English proficiency test IELTS score 6.0or above /TOEFL score 85 or above (non-native English speakers).

1. After receiving the materials, we will reply within 15 working days to inform you

2. We will send an email to inform you once your application is pre-approved. Then please provide your detailed mailing address.

3. After your documents are finally approved, your admission notice of Hebei University and foreign student visa application form (JW202) form will be mailed to you according to the mailing address provided by you.

4. Please contact us if you did not receive your admission notice in 15 working days.

5. After receiving the admission letter of Hebei University and the JW202 form, you can apply for the student visa (X1 or X2) with these materials from the Chinese embassy in your country.

6. Please inform us of your arrival time after you get your visa.

7. If you could not get to school on time, please inform us in advance, otherwise you will be regarded as dropping out of school.

The School of Management, founded in 2000, now possesses more than 4,000 teachers and students, which is the college with the largest number of students in Hebei University (HBU). There are 117 faculty members, including 100 full-time teachers, 38 professors, 46 associate professors,.

The School currently has seven departments, including Finance, Information Management Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Library Science, and Archives and Tourism Management. It offers highly rated Master level graduate programs in all areas. The disciplines of the school cover the first-level master's degree programs of all disciplines included. Now, there are 2 disciplines authorized to offer doctoral degrees in management science and engineering as well as library information and archives management, and10 disciplines authorized to offer  academic master degrees, 6 disciplines authorized to offer professional master's degree and 13 undergraduate programs. In addition, there are one pilot class for collaborative education (an experimental class with the CPA Association of Hebei Province) and one international cooperation project (a human resources management cooperation class with the Irish National Academy). The School is the home for several research centers, including the Xiongan New Area Research Institution, and Social Construction and Governance Research Center, etc.
